The SPL Refinishing System®, is the most efficient, cost-effective, system available today for coating the external panels and housings of today's telecommunications, office and computer equipment. By having the external panels of this equipment re-coated using SPL's patented process enables companies to restore the yellowed or surface damaged covers to a like-new appearance. This saves on the cost of acquiring new panels and the environmental cost of disposing of the old panels.
Our Re-Coat Material, or RCM for short, was specifically formulated to service the aforementioned markets. By manufacturing the coatings ourselves we are able to guarantee both our application customers and those of our licensees, will always receive a re-coated product second-to-none. |

 |
SPL specifically formulated its RCM to bond with the plastics used in telephones, copiers, facsimile machines, computers, printers, etc. The coating effectively becomes part of the original surface. The "bonding" that occurs ensures the coating does not flake, peel or chip from the coated surface. Re-application of our RCM to the coated surface becomes a breeze. Not only is the RCM specifically formulated to bond with the substrate of the product, it is also made from the same plastic resin as the substrate, thereby ensuring products re-coated with our RCM are 100% recyclable. See FAQs for more information.
OUR RE-COAT MATERIAL CHEMICALLY WELDS TO THE PLASTIC. Which results in No Chipping or Pealing! |

Reusing the external panels of photocopiers, facsimile machines, point-of-sale terminals, computers, CPU's keyboards, monitors and related peripherals, and telephone equipment reduces the quantity of plastic that must be recycled or sent to landfill for disposal. By re-coating the external panels this equipment can be restored to its original appearance or altered to a colour the customer requires. Yellowed or minor surface damaged covers can be restored to a like new appearance, significantly reducing refurbishing and total turn around costs on the machine. This process saves our customers money while greatly improving the final appearance of the machine. Aesthetics matter. |

| The three R's of the environmental movement; Reduce, Re-Use and Recycle have been a guiding theme for SPL for a number of years now. By re-coating the external casings of the products detailed above, you are able to re-use the product, thereby reducing the amount of product that must be recycled. We strive to reduce the amount of product requiring recycling as this step increases the life cycle cost of the product. Frequently recycling requires significant fuel costs to burn or dispose of the plastic material. If the product can be re-used numerous times, it amortizes the cost of recycling over more units. And, if re-use precludes replacement with new parts that will all eventually require recycling. |

SPL has licensed its specialty coating system to companieslocated on four Continents to offer re-coating services to office equipment and businessmachines dealers, telecommunications dealers and service providers, telephone companies as well as Original Equipment Manufacturers around the world. |
