Can
you match the original color?
Our state-of-the-art matching system and strict quality standards
ensures optimum colour match, allowing coated components to be mixed
and matched with new. Custom colours can also be formulated to meet
your specific requirements.

How
is this system different from paint?
SPL selects coating material to match the chemistry of the product
being coated, thereby forming a strong physical and chemical bond
- that, unlike paint, won't chip or peel. Matching the coating material
to the plastic also provides the "un-painted" look. The
coated product looks like new and can be fully recycled at the end
of its productive life. This claim cannot be made by any other coating
material on the market.

Is
it cost-effective?
The SPL Refinishing System® is a cost-effective way to refurbish
and re-coat lease-return, demonstration, soiled or off-colour equipment.
It provides an amazing "factory-fresh" appearance that
closely matches OEM color and surface characteristics, maximizing
both resale value and the product's life cycle. There are cheaper
alternatives, but they all give the appearance of a painted piece.
Only SPL's patented process can guarantee a finish that looks as
good as a replacement part and at a much lower price than the replacement
cost.

|
How
is it done?
Beginning with surface cleaning and preparation, the plastic component
is then sprayed with SPL's proprietary Re-Coat Material, specifically
formulated to match the necessary colour and gloss. Parts are dry
to the touch within fifteen minutes and can literally be packed
on the same day, although we do prefer curing to continue overnight.

|
What
about recycling?
The SPL Refinishing System® formulates coatings which are matched
to, or chemically compatible with the substrate. Thus the recyclability
of the product is not compromised by the coating.

|
Can
a re-coated product be coated again?
The unique chemical and physical bond created by SPL's Re-Coat Material
is duplicated with each successive application. This ensures that
telecommunication, computer and business equipment (amongst many
other products) can be re-coated repeatedly, maximizing the product's
useful life.
